white spaces.

Happy Monday! Just a few phone photos from this little house I fell in love with while we were out estate sale-ing this weekend. The ceilings were caving in, the floors were in sad shape, and no one would want to eat a thing cooked in that kitchen, but the potential of the place made my heart piddapat. This room I found particularly charming, a faded white sunroom with windows all around and the rich colors of the furnishings really popping. I’ve always wished that I were courageous enough to paint all my walls and ceilings in shades of white, because I think it can create such a calm and relaxing space when it’s done right. The trouble is, it would be so easy to do it wrong!

I’ll be back tomorrow with photos from the old Pentax!
